Built in 1919 as a miner's hotel, the lodge is a reflection of Crested Butte's historic past. Completely and beautifully renovated, this one of a kind Crested Butte Hotel boasts 19 guest rooms each with a private bathroom, color cable television, wireless internet service, and telephone with voice-mail and data port. Queen, Twin, and King bedrooms are available.
All the guest accommodations at Elk Mountain Lodge are individually decorated. Third floor rooms have balconies with spectacular Colorado Rocky Mountain views of the Crested Butte Mountain Resort and the surrounding Elk Mountains. After a long day of skiing or mountain biking guests relax in the indoor hot tub room or the lobby bar which is open each evening. |

Crested Butte is 231 miles Southwest of Denver. From Denver take I-70 West, 91 to Leadville, 24 to Salida, 50 West to Gunnison, 135 North to Crested Butte. Another way from Denver is 285 S to Poncha Springs/Salida. South on 24, West on Hwy 50 over Monarch pass to Gunnison. In Gunnison go N on the 135 to Crested Butte. |
