La Tambora Beach Resort located in Samaná bay, Dominican Republic. It is excellent for your vacations without spending too much. La Tambora Beach Resort is located on the peninsula of Samaná, near a small town of fishermen, it lies on a 30.000 m² area and it was opened in 1999.
The colonial style buildings are located on a tropical park and are connected one to each other by sidewalks made of stone, also leading to the 3 swimming pools, to jacuzzi, to Italian restaurant, and to the beach.
There are something you can do from La Tambora Beach Resort. For example you can attend possible tours to small, beautiful tropical island Cayo Levantado which can be reached with a 15 minutes. Another interesting visit is the Suhai Hitises national park and sailing through Samana bay, visiting the ancient Taino sites and caverns decorated with pre Colombian graffiti, the whole immersed in a tropical forest of mangroves. |

Featured in their thatched roof restaurant is full service and buffet style dining with five, fully planned meals and twice a week a la carte menu offerings. You can enjoy delicious adventures in world dining five nights a week with each night featuring one of 14 different themes such as Creole, Italian, Mexican, and other international menus. Some have two floor levels with a second sleeping area in an open loft above, and a small, furnished kitchenette. All have air-conditioning or ceiling fans, a fully appointed bathroom complete with hot-water shower and a bidet, a spacious balcony or porch with an ocean or garden view and fully opening glass doors to take advantage of the trade wind's natural ventilation. Varying with the floor plan's sleeping arrangements, the apartments can accommodate up to six persons and ideal for families or small groups. |
