A historic 18th century palace immersed in two hectares of tranquil parkland, Villa Aricia Hotel is located in the Rome suburb of Ariccia, a food and wine vacation destination famous throughout the Lazio region and Italy for its delicious porchetta (roast pork).
Located around 26 km south-east of Rome city centre, Ariccia forms part of the region's Castelli Romani area, a collection of charming hilltop villages where guests can visit historic villas and sample the area's famous white wine.
Transformed into a hotel in 1990, Villa Aricia has maintained its original mystic atmosphere through careful restoration. The vast hotel grounds still conserve a number of impressive historic ruins.
